This is what super charger neglagence looks like.
The SC siezed from bearing failure and pushed off its axis resulting in the flywheel gear and upper block damage.
Does anyone have a picture of this portion of the upper block? I do not know what an undamaged one looks like.
This is an 04' RXP that i aquired in this condition. My intent is to tear this one down and clean it as good as i can, inspect the bearings and journals throughout, and replace the 215 SC with a 255 X. I dont intend to do any other mods with the exception of a BOV.
I'm sure it's been asked before, but does anyone have any reason they would suggest i should stay with the stock 215 SC? Is it absolutely necessary to get the bigger injectors?
