    which model to race

Looking at advice for which model Kawasaki would be good for closed course racing . I would assume ultra 300 ? Trying to decide on a Seadoo or Kawasaki 4 stroke for next year . Would like to get now , and spend the winter setting it up and practicing for next year . Any comments and advice would be helpful .
    thanks

Was thinking of a 300X , I would assume the basic mods would be needed ? ( ride plate , intake, spsonsons ) ?

    which model to race

Depends on class you race talk to some of the other guys that race cc GL and ultra 702 mike h etc they will point you in the right direction and set up for cc. I only race offshore so not much help in respect to setup. It's a great ski for cc though.

Dooode - why are you always over here "taking jabs"?

Do you own a 300x or maybe you are considering purchasing one?

If not - isn't it time for you to go work on your IBR System or change your SC Washers or something?

You seem to "poke your head" over here simply to start BS - as you did back in June when I bought my ski:

Please get the Sea Doo since you are racing against me. Look at the pro open class results from the national tour. The ski is 3rd overall is a stock ski. That is not a forum opinion that is fact. He also won the National Title for Pro Stock. Mike H has added a title or two to his collection with his 300. I will let him brag on that one but I don't think a Sea Doo can brag more than him in his races. There were also two other 300s racing there with him. I think there are a few viseos on youtube showing how they compare to eachother on the course.

Since you will be racing R5. Definately get a sea doo. LOL 300 all the way. I need some real competition. Also I will help you set it up and get ready for next season.

I know you have this in the sea doo section also. How many of those guys are racers. Look at where you will race. Two 300s that won all they were in. I won limited with a stock ski against a HIGHLY modified limited class sea doo. There was not a 300 in pro stock this year so a Sea Doo won it but a 300 took home the #1 plate in every other RA class in R5. You can believe a forum or look at facts.

We will have several more Kawasakis next year. I guess the real question will be do you want a chance to win or not. That will tell you what ski you need.

You raced against both a 300 and a bad ass sea doo. You saw which ski you should buy. Look at all of my races. You saw Brian on Jennifer's bone stock 300 with only and SCOM give that black pro Sea Doo all it could handle in the pro race Sunday. That should tell you right there which ski is the strongest ski in CC.
