1999 Polaris Genesis help... taking on water

I have a 1999 Polaris Genesis (carb) that is taking on water from a seal along the driveline shaft in the photo attached. What is the part outlined in red? The water is flowing in through the seal while the ski is sitting in the water. Can it be replaced by a DIY type. Is this the part?… I live in Jacksonville FL and every time I take it in, it takes months for any repair. Can someone please let me know a part# and also recommend a shop.

The part that is leaking is the thru-hull seal located to the RIGHT of the red box. It can be replaced or rebuilt. The part that the red box partially covers is the engine to drive shaft coupler.

The link to SBT's site is infact a rebuild kit. Not a hard job.

    -Disconnect steering cable
-Remove 4 bolts that hold pump in
-Yank out pump and drive shaft
-Loosen clamp that holds in the thru-hull seal and pull it off
    -Rebuild the seal and enjoy!

    Tools Required:
    -Flat Head
    -11mm socket or end wrench
    -13mm socket

See my signature links for more info and video on the jet pump removal, and what is needed to rebuild that through-hull bearing carrier.

While you have it out, consider rebuilding the jet pump stator/impeller bearings and seals. One inexpensive special tool needed to remove the impeller, otherwise a straightforward job when you use the freezer/oven method to install the new bearings.
