    2012 RXP-X 260 supercharger bearing failure

Just to let everyone know that the new 200 hrs supercharger service is not a good idea in my option. I was doing the Houston Long ride on Saturday and got just over half way through it and my ski died. Lucky for me it was at the ramp at 270 so I pulled it and took it straight to the dealer I bought it from. This was my stock ski with 72 Hrs on it and they called me today to let me know that the charger bearing had failed. The good news is that they are covering it under warranty so no cost, just the down time. Just thought I would give everyone the heads up.

Did the ski stop dead in its track? Or did you just lose boost? Seized SCer = damaged flywheel.

Hey Martin, sorry to hear this news, but glad to hear the dealer will cover it under warranty.

+1 Make sure they replace the flywheel, flush out motor and new timing chain. Doing this to mine as we speak.

It was running good then I slowed down for a no wake zone and it just died.

The dealer said everything else was good, it has full warranty so if they get it wrong it will go straight back
