...I did a search and couldn't find any info...are these carb's interchangable? They are both 44mm, etc..

Though there are similarities, they are quite different. Better sticking with the carbs designed for it.

Hey Bill! Thanks for the reply. Any real world/known issues with doing this...I need a carb for my 800 and have some 1200 carbs, I could change-out one or both... (?)

    Thanks.

Number one biggest difference is the high speed adjusters have different threas sizes so one turn out one is different than on the other.

I don't know any body that has tried swapping them out. I am sure with enough messing around you can find something that will work.

Thanks Bill! ...indeed, I get that. Because they are so hard to find ( I body) and oem's are 700 bucks a
pop, I'm gonna try and see. Spoke with Carl briefly over at Pro-tec and he said they would bolt-up ( I also have his F/A adaptors that work with both oem 800/1200 I-body's). Otherwise it's a new manifold & new SBN carbs, etc. which is certainly an option... .

I have the front carb closest to the magneto. I think it needs to be rebuilt, but can't remember for sure. It's been sitting in the garage for about 18 months
