Back on the Water: a BIG Thank You

Just wanted to say a whole hearted THANK YOU to everyone who had a hand in getting my ski running again. The MSX 140 was out of commission for over a year with a fundamental engine failure. Sucks to be me.

Many new parts, many hours, curses, cuts and bruises later, the ski is running and has been for about a month. It's not lost on me the amount of effort it took to get my baby back on the water. I know, cuz I too turned a wrench for this project.

The biggest Thank You goes to my main man K447, for all his effort.

I also want to thank: Sharps Marine, especially Jay Lorenz and Ronnie Sharp, Mike Ball at Snow City Cycle Marine in Toronto, Precision Cycle in Oshawa, and Power Seal. All the places and people that supplied all the tools, parts and bits that we installed - Partspitstop.com, Babbitts.com, Watcon.com, West Marine, Randy, John Zigler, Beerdart, Keddano and Amy, and everyone who answered questions, shared advice and did some general chin scratching to get this job done.

Too many to list, but you know who you are. I'm sorry if I've forgotten someone, as everyone's input has value.

I can't forget those who generously let me ride their skis so I could get my fix. Nick, who's SL900 we've had all summer, Delagem, BryanP, Craig, and Jim - Thank You!!!

And here's a shot of us enjoying Lake Ontario. We're ba-aaaaack

Sweet!!!!!! You can ride my X45 anytime you want. I have since tweaked the carbs and changed the prop. Drives way better than it did when you last rode it!!!!!
