    Thumbs up how to fit solas any help please

    hi guys
    got my dream ski ,but take of is slow ,cavitating want to put a solas on but iam getting mugged of with dealers in uk can anyone tell me where or how to fit a solas to my rxp 2005,i know i need a tool also what is the best solas to go for,ski will have a r n d intake grate to

    Welcome to the forum! You may consider ditching that R&D grate, the Riva is much better.

    For a stock ski go with the Solas 14/19R

    If you are getting cavitation your wear ring is probably worn. You may consider a stainless steel replacement (original is plastic)

    You need the imeller romaval tool which you can get here in Jerrys store http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=306Basic hand tools like a socket set and some allen wrenches you also need a 12mm allen wrench which doesnt come in any average allen wrench set there ussualy sold seperatley and a bench vise will help dramatically.

    Thumbs up i finally found some people more crazy than me

    thanks hulk and devil thats great ,a real help ,i thought i did my home work with th RnD grate is the riva that much better as i havent ounpacked it yet.
    another mod i was looking at is the supercharger blow of kit
    do you guys recommend it

    Dont spend your money on the blow off kit. Use that money and put towards some OPAS blockoffs.

    Yes, the Riva grate is that much better

    1st thing u should do is get a set of metal washers 4 ur s/c the stock s/c clutches like 2 come apart and go through ur oil pumps & thats no good a few dollars now could save u a lot of money latter
