    2004 Rxp 80mph build

Picked the ski up off a fellow member last year with 82hrs on it, in very good condition with no thoughts of modification.
however it was running the following and was a huge bonus.
x-charger, 42lbs injectors, riva free flow pipe, solas 14/19, R&D intake grate, fizzle 4" air intake.
opas block offs and riva sponsons.

    however the power bug bit...

its now running a et137 with 3mm spacer.
    fizzle intercooler.
    shorted and gutted waterbox
    rear air intake
    rising rate reg
    afr gauge in the mirror
    solas 15/22
    speed freaks nose cone
    R&D cavitation cone
    2" riva pump extension
    riva thru hull pipe
jims basic ride plate... ( i think )

which went 77.7mph @ 8150rpm with me and a friend in calm conditions

the head has now been removed, due to faulty valves. thought i would replace them before they break being 04's
turns out they are 06's and it looks like it may have dropped one and some point in its life.
in anycase the head has now got supertech valve springs and retainers, riva valves, k-line exhaust guides, 3 angle valve seats
and some port work to clean it up abit.
also got a rad4 exhaust manifold spacer to go on.
the pto has been removed and im installing a 08 oiler for the supercharger.
also new carbon seal, pto bearing and boot are coming
engine alingment has also been corrected.

hopefully going to send the ecu off soon for a reflash and either 8800rpm or 9200rpm rev limiter so i can chase 80mph!

got some new grips, hood shocker and few other odds and sods to throw together before summer, hopefully can go and pick on some pesky ultra 300s over summer!

Nice build bro. Just get a new seat cover and a set of mats to make it look better! They will also help you stay on it at 80+ mph.......

Leave the seat and the mats so that when you see the 300's or any ski, it will be more stock looking. That is a clean ski. I tell you what though mate I cant believe that about the valves. The guy I brought it off (first owner from new) never said anything about that, would have been handy to have known they were done. The gauge mount and trailer look real good also. Looking forward to seeing it out there, unfortunately it will be passing my new ski.

    Nice build...

...change out the oil restrictor in the block. In the 04/05 block it restricted too much oil going to the head, swap out for the 06+ unit...

    i like the standard look
yeah dunno what the go is with the valves, was a small amount of damage to the head, but the valves look good, the regular fogging and the fact it runs some dam rich at idle now 10.1 has keep them looking pretty decent wasnt able to find any rust on them and next to no pitting.

keen as too get it out there its my little outlet on the week ends not having it sucks!
