    Runaway

Went to crank up my gp1200r today after I rebuilt the top end and the carbs. The first few times it would just crank and die. Then it just wanted to runaway the last time i started it. Pulled the lanyard hit stop and disconnected the battery did not stop it. Could it be that the carbs just have air in them from being rebuilt? OR what else. The motor leaked down a 1/4 psi over a 6 min period.

    most likely

on a fresh carb rebuild, I pull the return line and crank it while watching for fuel to come out before I choke or prime the engine to start

Ok I will put then back in and do that. I took then out to check for leaks again and it did not have any so maybe that is the problem hopefully
