Straight pipe and how to make it work on a 15f

Alright guys I have gone through 4 or 5 different iterations of exhaust trying to make this work. I understand the the easy solution would be to add a waterbox and be done with it but my goal is to keep my O2 sensor working well for as long as possible. That isn't the problem right now. The problem I am having is that water pools in the exhaust just after the outlet of the header this is not an issue while the motor is running but when I stop water partially fills the ports on the low side of the header at the bottom I guess from the cooling lines draining, and when I try to start the motor it sucks water back up through the header. I thought I was having issues with the pipe actually being straight but I added a u bend yesterday to keep water flowing in from the exhaust tip and this morning when I went out to try changing some settings it sucked water back up the pipe after running it on the hose.

To those of you who have run a straight pipe on a 15 or 12 how have you made it work and did you run into any issues like I have?

    Thanks

    Sean

Jacketed pipe. Only way I could think of.

That's what I'm thinking or a water box style tube but straight through instead of a bend.

My above "Check it out" is more of a this is kind of what I think you need to come up with for it to work well. Need toi segregate the water from the exhaust.

I figured Mr. Rod, that was actually my initial plan to keep the exhaust waterjacketed until I reached the tip but I ran out of funds for the stainless, I am working out the details now but it may make just as much sense to try the totally gutted box as I have it on good authority that it will work.

The exhaust is the smallest thing that makes it open class lol. I had planned on running open already.
