    Piston wash advice , pro 785

    Need some input of the piston wash of my 785 . Motor has about 5 hours . Any help would be great !

    I think the center is a little rich, the other two look OK
    I am going to pull the head on my race 785 and see how the wash did at the last race also,

    cen is a touch rich ,how many rpm's was it turning ???

    I'd be interested in seeing that...I might go pull the head off mine now and see how things look.

    just make sure you use the correct head bolt tightening sequence and tourque when you go back on with the head,
    and take off in the reverse order,

    For those of you wanting to check their piston wash regularly, you might want to consider buying a borescope like a ProVision. We have one and it has paid for itself many times over by us not having to pull heads along with the expense of head gaskets. The big money saver is of course seeing what is going on with the piston wash so we can make adjustments to prevent a lean condition that causes damage.

    It's also good for looking underneath everything to find that bolt/nut/washer/clip/etc I just dropped. LOL

    Any windows based unit. I like that you can shoot stills and vids..
