The season is over for me

The weather around here flips like a switch. Two weeks ago it was high 90's, now it's in the 40's at night. The daytime is maybe 70 and it's windy.

Didn't spend near enough time riding, not enough to warrant owning them. We took both Ski's to Florida for two weeks, that was great.
But the river here is boring after the ocean. Muddy, stinky, with debris floating every where.

The people who don't hit the salt water are missing out.

Oh well, time to fog them and winterize. Sad, summer is over. I hate winter.

70's is the average summer temp here, we go out in winter too 35, get yourself a dry suit and some thermals underneath.

If you are in Ohio try Lake Erie. The Great Lakes are a blast. Probably as good as the ocean without the salt. I do 90 percent of my riding on Lake Michigan, which is only 3 miles from me. I have a full wet suit. Good down to about 50 degrees. I plan on getting what I need to keep riding as long as the water is still liquid.

I don't put the skis away till Halloween, we will get a couple 70* days yet, need to ride at least once more to warm up the oil so I can change it. I don't mind looking at them in storage, when I put them away I get the snowmobiles out (they occupy the same places in both sheds) I've ridden the ocean a couple times, great when its smooth, sucks when its rough.
