    S/C Washers

Picked up my 07' RXP last week and have been reading on the forum for a bit now. After reading all the horror stories about the ceramic washers failing and cusing a disater, It got me scared and thinking. First question I have about it is when i look at the online store the last year washers they list is 06' would that fit my supercharger or did they change it and need to wait for the new ones to come out??? Second question is would it be better to do the washers now with 0 hours on it or break it in first then change them out??? Also are there any disadvantages to running the metal washers???

I'm worried about the same thing. I bought a 06 rxp last year and I don't want my washers to go out when I start riding it again this Spring- so far I've called a few places and no one will do it.

As far as know, the washers and supercharger setup is exactly the same.

Hi guys, i live in Morgan City, LA. I generally swap the washers out the same day i receive your supercharger and its on the way back to you via UPS the very next day. I charge $50 for the service which also includes return shipping. If you are interested in me doing the swap for you just shoot me a PM.

    Thanks!
    Jerry

    Jerry,

Do the 06 style washers fit the 07's. Also how hard would something like that be to do on my own???

    Thanks
    Nick

Yes, the 06 and 07 are the same. I will go to the online store and change that tonight

Here are the instructions on how to change the washers

You may opt to change them on your own. Many do!
