Is the 2006 RXP Exhaust manifold different to a 2008 RXPX one?

Is the 2006 RXP Exhaust manifold different to a 2008 RXPX one? Are they interchangable?

I know the J pipe is replaced by the straight pipe and a different waterbox etc and the clamps are different etc.

But is the manifold the same? Part number is different in the fiche but Seadoo often do this without changing the physical part.

They are a differant castings but are interchangeable. It's a good upgrade if you want to tap for an o2 sensor as they are thicker in that area.

not to hijack his thread but are there any performance gains by switching from an 06 to the newer style?

Does not affect the header but Ditching the J pipe and going for the O8+ setup will help some.

Looking at Danny's thread on flow testing, if you use a later style straight pipe and waterbox, it flows 20% better than the J pipe and older style waterbox so I would say there would be an improvement in performance, How much the gain is would be anybody's guess!
