best intake grate / impeller for 09 rxpx??

so i have a stock 09 rxpx did a few pulls with my friend who has a riva stage 1 ski, and i hung with him surprisingly well. My question is what intake grate and impeller should i go with. i was looking at the r&d grate and the riva 15/22r impeller? i dont wanna do the whole kit because i was not inpressed with it. any idea?? worz, riva, r&d?? thanks

ps i have a r&d grate on my rx, it lost top end but had great bottom end, will the r&d do this on the px? cause i dont wanna loose top end on this ski.

I had an 08 RXP-X. I would go with the R&D intake grate which its better for top end specially if you do ride on flat waters. And yes, Go with the 15/22r. You'll be happy with this combo.

thats the thing... i ride in the hudson river.. one minute its glass and the next theres 4 foot swells.. all depends on the tides.. is the r&D still good in those conditions??

Yes, this R&D grate is the best choice

You will want this 15/22R impeller for your 09 ski

Do not put the 15/22 on your ski without at the very least upgrading your air intake. You will not be able to spin it up properly otherwise.

Yep, increased throttle response right throughout the throttle range, better acceleration, helps the ski breath better, and a 1-1.5mph speed gain

big difference between the 4in and the 3 in?? the 4 in looks like dryer hose were the riva looks nice but its about performance.
