GP1200R First time pop-off pressure testing

I will be breaking down the ski for winter in the next few weeks and have read many posts on fine tuning my GP1200R. I currently have a
remanufactured SBT 1200PV engine, RIVA D-Plate & Chip, stock air box and am not sure if there is a free-flow exhaust. I plan to rebuild
all three carbs using Mikuni kits from RIVA and use a 115gr spring to try and get 50-60 psi pop-off. Will replace the stock air box with RIVA/K&N
FA's & socks, keep the choke in tact and disable the accelerator pump linkage. I want it to run slightly rich for reliability. I would rather replace a fouled plug than a burnt cylinder. Already running a 32:1 pre-mix. Will go back to a 40:1 pre-mix after carb rebuilds.

I have a Harley Davidson air suspension pump http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...1&default=none that's good up to 60 psi and is very accurate. I wonder if anyone has a procedure with
pics of how to do the pop-off test. What needs to be plugged, etc. Slightly paranoid about drilling out the tamper-proof caps.

If everything tunes up OK, I also plan to do the RIVA Ride Plate, Grate and Impeller upgrades. Would like to find a used Single Pipe
Stinger3 to get rid of the huge OEM stinger that blocks access to the carbs. Thanks!

There's a sticky in the how to section on disabling the acc pump, you will need to rejet and use a 1.5 neeedle seat and run flame arrestors.I would go by those settings listed, they are tried and proven over and over again.

    Found some videos on Youtube.

So I get the general idea. Still don't know if I need to block/cap off any other ports and what to use.

You can make a tester yourself, basically need an air compressor,a ball valve and a pressure gauge, you hook it up to the fuel inlet and block off the return
