Please help!!! Correct piston size ordering.

I ordered new pistons and inadvertently I ordered the standard OEM A for 1-5 stamped pistons size. The stamp on top of my cylinders is 10, 10, and 8. Should I have gotten B's as opposed to the A's? This is for a 2004 Yamaha xlt waverunner.

    Thanks,

    Cisco

According to Riva's site 6-10 cylinders use B pistons.

The A's are slightly smaller. I would exchange them for B's if it was me.

Beerdart is right in that the two pistons aren't much difference in size. I'm sure they would work fine. He probably has mch more experiance than me (mine is limited). I am just the type that would rather have everything as it is marked. I would imagine if they sized a "lot" of each piston A and B that the sampling may not even show a significant difference between the 2. Hard to imagine they can consistantly machine to .001. However, if it was Spring I may use the A's but why not put the right ones in since its fall? Pistons probably won't be your hold up on the build anyways. You decide.
