Ring Free Shock Treatment
Does anybody know the proper procedure to perform a full Ring Free Shock Treatment. I was told that Yamaha dealers are suppose to perform these task, but I want to know if it can be done in your own garage. What are the steps? What tools are required?
The reason why I am asking is beacuse I have started to pay attention to maintaining my waverunner and I want to make sure I have it running at Optimal performance. My 2005 FX Cruiser HO was purchased April 2011 with 102 hours on it, the cylinders compression range in the 150's. My first season I did not realize the maintenance I had to do i.e.(flushing, adding stablizer to gas when not in use for 2 weeks, etc...) I finally came to by the end of the season and did the following. A local dealer winterized it last season and I will never have them do it again. I paid over $200 and they forgot the oil rag below the oil filter So, for now on I am doing my own maintenance (Thanks to CaptainReza videos) and leave the big jobs to the dealer.
I now have 129 hours and planning to have it in great shape for a long time. I am unaware of the service history of the waverunner. I bought this from a local Ford dealership, who buys them from the U.S. and sells them here in Canada. 100 hour service was done by dealer as soon as I bought it, over $400 + new spark plugs

the bottle says 2 types of treatment: a)constant b)shock
the shock treatment requires an oil change afterwards i believe.
