    Venturi Ring questions

Do the venturi rings work pretty good for changing rpms for summer heat?
do they make that much of a difference?

Yup. It's like adding/dropping a tooth (or teeth) on a motorcycle. It can drastically change the power characteristics.

They work great. Any modified ski should be running one.

If you're not interested in top speed, try a 3 blade.
I haven't personally tried one, but I've heard they have stronger bottom to mid pull, which sounds perfect for corner to corner racing.

+1 you need power and cold air for a very small ring, for sure
