What's up with Jettrim?!?
So here I am, finally ready to get a new seat cover. I did a lot of research a couple of years ago, and decided that Jettrim offered the pattern I wanted. I emailed them on Tuesday, only to find out that they no longer make one for a 2004 Polaris MSX. Not only that, but they wouldn't even custom make one.
Maybe I'm getting old, but does this email sound a little curt and dismissive?

Sorry we can't do it.

The problem was in the seats from Polaris. You could take their same pattern, put it on two different seats and it wouldn't fit.
I mean you could get the cover on BUT it would pull the seat away from the glove box area and leave a HUGE gap between the seat and body work.
If you look at my gallery, you'll see how perfectly my 04 fit and how poorly the 03 seat fits. I wound up sending my whole seat, they recovered it and it still turned out the same.
I still LOVE the way I could get the different colors applied and the gap didn't bother me too much after I knew the problem.
Maybe give her a call, let her know you are aware of the problem and are willing to take the chance??
I have 2 spare seats!!

I just got off the phone with Kelly.
Official word. "the foam from Polaris is to inconsistant"
They will NOT make the pattern for each seat and she states they DID indeed throw the old pattern out. sigh..........

Thanks for getting me the scoop and going the extra mile, 'Craft. Why the heck couldn't they tell me that themselves? A little elaboration would've been nice.
So if this is a Polaris seat problem, why is Hydroturf still offering a MSX seatcover? Is their more simple pattern, more bulletproof?

Now that's a good question.
Kelly stated they weren't going to buy any more seats back.
Maybe HT just doesn't buy them back??
I still don't see why Jet Trim just wouldn't sell their seat cover with a disclaimer....

Yeah, especially since Jettrim had the better looking pattern. Set the right expectations, and a little legal mumbo jumbo, then VOILA! They can still make some money. Oh well....c'est la vie.
I don't suppose you know someone over at HT, who I could talk turkey with?
