    a few mods

been a while since I posted on here so just thought I would share my experience with a few mods I have had done to the FZS. The first things I did was to change the ride plate to a Riva one and changed the intake grate for an R & D. I didnt like all the grey of the seat so put a Riva cover on. The last mods that have just been done are a reflashed ECU by Gary Watson racing here in Aus, removed the inlet manifold ribbon and lastly changed the sponsons to R & D ones. The last 3 mods have really transformed the ski, it now has more power, better economy and handles so much better with the R & D's, I highly recommend them for ocean riding and normal riding, they make the ski heaps more stable and predictable

Nice mods. Just bought a FZS myself. I have to agree, the stock silver seat is pretty plain and cheap looking. I am going to change mine to a Riva or similar two or three tone one.

not sure about how much more speed but at a guess I would say the ski is now doing low to mid 70's. I dont have a gps fitted plus it wasnt flat enough yesterday to get a proper full speed run. It does definately have more noticable power and I am very happy with it. The cover I have is a dark yellow Riva.

only had it out once since the mods were done, I did a ride simular in distance to before the reflash and came back with 2 bars of fuel instead of 1. Gary Watson has had a ski with this reflash up to 80mph, not sure what other mods were done but you could ask him via his website
