07 GP1300R D-plate
Hello guys just reading through some treads and i see that the 05 and 06 are having problems beeping and engine sign comes up on the dash when the d-plate is installed. To solve this problem people said must install the a higher resistor i think its the 100 ohm? My question is have riva fixed this problem with the 07 models?
Thanks for the info

tanny 10k ohm resistor works for the 05 to the 07...yes it does beep and keep on till you reset it,
some skis dont in the year band but put it in place to stop it from ever happening...
no riva still have not worked it out and they are still selling the old resistors for the later models without asking what year you putting it in...pm me if i can help...paul

I have 2 2005 GPR's and they both needed the resistor otherwise it would beep. Resistor is a 10,000 ohm.

Shooter just put a 1K in his 06 EFI conversion and it works perfectly.
Just a FYI.

yes but it works on its bottom range band, the 10 k ohm is smack in the middle and less chance of any other parts of the system detecting a fault..

Is this a must change when installing the d-plate or just when your sensorís or acting werid it same to me it only be a few it happens to???
