    VXRGTS Jet Boat

Hello Everyone, I wanted to share a project that I started 10 years ago when Me and my Wife had Our first Son, ( Necessity is the mother of invention
You see we had a ski boat and a jet ski business and a new born. we loved the water but no doubt you cant bring the baby with you sometimes.... so I got the Idea of cutting up two Jet skis and making a baby friendly boat. I found a beat up 23 foot boat with a cabin and started work immediately.

I started by taking a Wet Bike and cut the front off and basically bolted it to the transom. This worked well enough because we had no need for speed with
a infant sleeping in the cabin, It went about 10 mph before it would just cavitate (40%power).

After a year or two, one day we were leaving the beach because of a storm that was approaching and we needed to get back,
a friend on a ski pulled up behind the boat and started pushing us..... and we got on plane! That confirmed to me that 2 jet pumps could push this barge.

1 year later I took 2 Seadoo GTS's cut them up and glassed them in.... Wow 30mph
however the 587s didnt like to start with the back pressure of being so low in the hull.

6 years ago I decided to take 2 Yamaha 701s and hook the up to the already glassed Seadoo jet pumps using a 951 PTO that I bolted to a modified Yamaha PTO........ Success. This year I deiced I wanted a Fly bridge and duel controls. Now I am collecting 4 stroke parts.
