    Supercharger

    what the different between a gtx sc supercharger and a rxp supercharger?... i was thinkin of buyin one to swap? can it work and if it can what other mods do i ahve to do?

    The drive gear on the SC is diffrent One is 16 teeth and one is 17 teeth So it wont work

    if i was to buy the charger and change my teeth woudl it work?

    Yes, it will, but you need to put a spacer in between the SCer houseing and motor as the gtx SCers were a tad different and the update required the use of spacers for the heavier clutch.

    You would also have to change the gear on the crank

    This Rotax Racing overdrive gear set comes with the supercharger clutch complete with gear and also the crankshaft drive gear.

    good point... but thats not true of all GTX SC skis... only certain years, or ultimately only certain part numbered back housings

    i rebuilt my 03 gtx s/c 2 rxp spec i bought the flywheel 4 150 found a 06 s/c rebuild kit with the rxp gear 4 125 from my buddy mic everything and it was ok put in metal washers 100 and cerminic bearings 135 + a gasket 4 the rear houseing, oil pressure spring & streach bolts 4 the flywheel, added the rr s/c fan 450 and also the washers 2 space the s/c back from the houseing i think all 03 & early modles 04 s/c had the short ears they were the ones that were metal 2 metal no washers mine went at 80 hrs

    Yellow jacket, What gains did you get? Was it on par with a RXT after this?
    Would it of been easier to just sell your GTX and get a RXT?

    I just want to give him options.

    I have a complete SC with Riva wheel in the classifieds if that would help.
