    D plate not aligned correctly

I have a 2000 gp1200r with d plate and chip. I've noticed that the d plate has a point on it and i dont think its aligned correctly. I watched a youtube video and it showed the point on the d plate aligning with two other points but the d plate goes in between the other two. I was wondering if the d plate is not aligned correctly can it cause any problems? Can it cause the ski to not idle right or to stall when i slow down?

Better to take exhaust apart en install d-plate the correct way, donīt know if it will affect performance if d-plate isnīt aligned correct but it is a 20 min job and then you will be sure .

Your plate is more than likely upside down. The opening is suppose to be on the bottom.

    it wont effect performance

its probably installed backwards... it will only go on 2 different ways due to the alignment pins
