    Havasu

So i was making all the plans to take the kids to Havasu for a weekend of riding. Then i realize its the world finals. I've never been to havasu btowefore, let alone during the finals. Any suggestions? Should i even go considering how crazy packed it will be especially with the three little kids in tow??? If i do go, what's a family friendly place to launch and beach?

We're in Havasu right now. The Finals are this weekend at Crazyhorse campground. The event hasn't been packed because it's been so hot. Saturday and Sunday are the last two days of the event. The event is free, but there is a fee for parking. Also a bunch of vendors and lots of great viewing of the races. A number of boats pull up as well and watch from the water side.

Lots of other places to launch if you want to ride with your family. Your best bet is to ask at the Tourist Information. They will give you a list of places. Everything here is easy to get to as well. Havasu is not that big and it is very boater friendly. As the day wears on, the water does get busy, so keep your head on a swivel. We like to ride as early as possible in the morning, as most people are still sleeping.
    Hope this helps.

No, it's not. The money has left the industry. Bud, Marlboro, etc. are all out of the PWC promotion bizz. Now we got RockStar, RedBull, and Monster. I hope it comes back; Internationally it's big. But here.....not so much.

Hmmmm No kidding. I wonder if it has to do with all of the Scott Fraiser drama? That is about the only time of year I drink one of those. And they were ice cold and free.
    Anyone know whats up?

My comment about Monster/RedBull/Rockstar was more about motor sports in general. Not just ski's.
