    Carbon Fiber RXP Hull?

Does anyone know if someone is either making or in the process of producing a carbon fiber RXP hull?

I am not talking about just the top deck but the entire hull...

I have had a few customers approach me about this. What would be the aproximate cost and what would be the weight reduction?

In other words, if a stock RXP fully equipped weighs in at 850 lbs what would a carbon top deck come in at? How about the entire hull in CF??

the original weight of the rxp deck is 52 kilos we make the fiber class weight to 16 kilos with carbon is around 10 kilos but the price will be too much and will not be legal to race

for the complete hull i will too some homework with the techisians and i will reply

    Yamaha GPR.

Many of us are putting RXP engines into them and calling them GPRXP's

I'd speculate that if someone were to make a full CF hull, utilizing parabeam and CF only, the total weight could be dropped by over 150lbs. The RXP inner hull is massive, and is a cause for most of the weight. If someone could devise an inner hull, less massive, this ski would weigh a TON less, and still be structurally sound.... but at the end of the day, it's still a rxp hull.

I think what you would want would be something like a RXP CF topdeck, shortened to match a GPR bottom hull, with a custom cf liner. Since the small market that would want these would be SD fans, make the hull accept SD pumps. You would be looking at a 400lb ski, with about a total weight of 750lbs.
