    Virage txi won't run

I have a 01 txi I bought it with the engine removed its a relatively new sbt engine looks to be in great shape. The only thing I could find wrong with it was a chipped bendix and loose mags on the flywheel. Also the leads for the Cps and stator were cut and missing much to my frustration. So now I've got a new flywheel stator and cps new battery and new plug wires. It gets fuel pressure is good voltage is around 22v wile cranking. Battery has good voltage wile cranking. All plugs spark good and strong when you remove them.
So problem right now it sputtered a few times now it just turns over then backfires through the exhaust. Every time I take the plugs out they are covered in oil and have to be cleaned to spark again. I have new fresh plugs but don't want to put them in until I solve the oil problem as a set of plugs is 50$
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
Oh also unplugged the tps with no change.

ok put the new plugs in and it started to sputter and cough and almost start after it backfired and blew apart both resonators. So assuming its not gonna start and run enough to blow out the oil without the back pressure from the exhaust system. next question does it have to have the resonators or can you just plumb straight pipes. the resonators are just for noise reduction right?
    again appreciate the help!!

    Welcome to the Hulk!

Sounds like you have done some good troubleshooting.

If the fuel pressure is over 20 PSI and the stator did not get damaged due to the loos magnets (sounds like its not based on your voltage) then my guess would be either:

    -bad CPS
    -bad EMM

Im sure someone more experenced will chime in.

Yea the stator and the flywheel are both new and the spark is very strong will easily jump a 1" gap!!!
it really sounds like it wants to run my concern still is the ton of oil on the spark plugs every time you turn the engine over.
need to fix the exhaust now before running any more tests. was one hell of a big bang!! My dads ears were ringing three hours after and he wasn't even standing inside the garage

    Still just sputter sputter backfire
I'm still very suspect of the oil on the plugs. I've had to have cleaned them off 30 times now. Is it possible dor the oil to leak past the injector pump?
