2012 RXT260 Mild Build
Picked up a RXT260 in May 2012. My wife rides this ski most of the time, while I am on the stand up skis. We got the three seat so we can take our son along with us. She thinks the ski is fast enough, and rides most of the time in ECO mode. I have to keep the mods mild and no loud exhaust.

Hey Lil Mack i'm interested in installing a sea strainer on my 2012 RXT-X . Your location at where you tied in seems to come right off the pump from the pic is that right. The strainer will do both the IC and the exhaust i'm guessing. Have you had any issues as far as restrictions of flow and or cooling?

The line off of the pump tees to the intercooler and exhaust. The strainer is only filtering the water to the intercooler. No restriction that i can notice.

Do you have a shut off valve for towing ?? It seems that some of the installs with these strainers has a shut off valve for towing. Is this needed on newer units?

No shut off valve, I have not towed the ski for any reason.
