Outside Winter Storage - Need a cover

I need to store my 09 VX110 Deluxe outside this winter. I'd rather not, but space is really limited. So, I'm just looking for suggestions for a good cover. I know eBay is full of them, but I'm a little concerned about the quality. Anyone have any experience with this?

    Thanks,
    Jim

Stock covers plus heavy tarp over the top here in Iowa. Keeps moisture and droppings sap off but breathes from underneath

Also use an old bed sheet to help protect your finish. No matter what cover you get, it is still rougher than Chit on the inside.

Anybody shrink wrap their ski? I am thinking about it as I may have to leave it under a pretty nasty pine tree that loves dripping sap everywhere.

I saw that sale in my email, but wow is that shrink wrap expensive. Might as well just rent an indoor space for that money!

I was quoted $90 (for a single ski) at one place and $9.00 per foot at another for shrink wrapping. Doesn't seem too unreasonable. Only catch (and I forgot to ask) but I am pretty sure once the wrap is on you can't take it off so any winter work/upgrades would have to wait until early spring.

just make sure its a canvas and not a cheep plastic one and pluss one on the tarp. ever seen one of those clear tent house things you pull car or bike in then zip it up? just a thought!
