I know someone who said last year at fall MB that ski would be a very good closed course ski, but damn.

That same person also said after they rode it at fall MB, that that ski was not for them.

Just because it performs well in a racing application doesn't mean that it's desireable for a recreational application. Ask me how I know.

I bought one and it was fun for about 10 hours. In the rough and turns it is unbelievably fun but once the water gets smooth and there's no turning involved the hull feels dead. It feels like there's an anchor attached to the back. I traded it for an FZR which has a much more "lively" hull. The throttle and turning response is much quicker but it doesn't turn nearly as well as the RXP-X. Once again, there is no perfect boat.

RXTX top deck with T3 modified hull does not = RXPX. That was what Bushy raced R/A Open. Turbo. He has some serious upper body strength. His ability to hold on and the excelleration out of the corners after what appeared like barely slowing down.... Funny, he did not have the hole-shot but got to the first bouy before anyone. Maybe in ski's it should be "Bouy Shot" like in MX it should be "Corner shot". From that first bouy on no one came close.
Warner did well on his hybrid 15F considering. But Sea Doo's definately ruled the water, big time. Congratulations and you Sea Doo fans must be as happy as, well, a Kawi owner at an off-shore event...LOL Absolutely awesome showing for sure.

I saw Mike on Sunday-wearing a back and neck brace; what the hell happened? I've never heard what exactly he did to almost break his back.
