    Anytime Silver Glenn Ride

Going to Silver Glenn Springs tomorrow 10/13/12. We are leaving from Deland SR-44 boat ramp at Ed Stone Park should be there about 10- 10:30 am. Anyone is welcome to join us. Its about a 55 mile round trip from Deland. You can put in at Astor boat ramp and its alot shorter boat ride. We will be on a black 2012 FX-HO.

Please post on this thread when ever you go, if anyone is making this ride.

    Thanks, JP

Well we went! Lake George was a big mess today maybe should have turned around and gone back to Blackwater Inn in Astor for some beer and lunch. Must have been a 20 mph NE wind it was a wet ride, but good thing the water is still pretty warm down here.

That is a killer place I have only been there once as well. And the darn lake might as well been a ocean the water was rough as heck on the way back last time. With the winds we had down south today it would have worse most likley today. I would like to go again some day great place looked like not many folks were there today.

Not much going on for a Saturday. The lake was cranking up all day. I bet most pontoons and small boats stayed in the river after seeing the lake.

Its usually a nice place to hangout and relax. Last month a lot of the Scream and Fly guys were there for a group get together.

Wow those pics sure bring back some great memories of when my father would to take me to Silver Glenn when I was younger in our boat. I would love to do this ride with you guys if I could ever time my trips down to Orlando when you guys go. I'm up in Atlanta now and sure do miss the water down there.

    Anytime Silver Glenn Ride

One of my fav rides. One time last year I did that ride and lake George was FLAT as glass. It was very weird. Usually it's got some waves
