    R&D Re flash for gp1300r

    Hi has ant one had there yam 1300r ecu reflashed by R&D and if so did it make much difference many thanks

    I had it installed to my ecm on a 2006 gpr and the acceleration is greatly improved and gained 1.5 -2 mph on ski top speed on the gps.. Tommy Jordan

    My reflash (r1) at the time a non ported 07 gpr gave advance timing for more acel, a better fuel curve at 5000-6000 rpms and a increased rev limit from 7400 to 7700 rpms...definitly felt the differences though never came close to the limiter...strong from holeshot to top end ..didnt personally see a noticable jump in mph increase until porting.......

    I bought a extra ecu and let R&D reflash it. Boat ran rough at all rpms, 1 mph slower than with oem ecu, but the worst thing was the overreving protection. When you came unhooked it let the revs go down a couple of thousand rpms before giving power again. It felt like the boat hit the brakes as soon as the pump got loaded again after coming unhooked.
    I wrote R&D and they told me that I should try a diffrent pitch on the impeller.
    I did not think it would change anything but tried it. Same results. I also tried it on a friend of mine´s Gpr(also -08 as mine) Same results.
    I gave up on it and installed a 3 degree keygen instead.
    Will sell it here soon but must email R&D again to see if they are willing to return it and reprogram it. Obviously they did not get it right the first time.

    Did you get the R1 reflash or a custom reflash? What mods are on the boat?

    Only Stock class legal mods such as: airfilter, grate, impellar, jetworks...

    Hey Dave, sounds like you got a New Ski, that is now up with the biguns. Tell me more about your R1 Reflash for your recently sold GPR. I am the Ozark guy who is trying to imulate your last ride! Got a gps and the new 08 GPR clocked @ 68.3 with the only mod "D" plate / cat removed, R & D ride plate installed. Want to go forward .... need info on reflash ? Thanks

    Hello, you might be just the guy .... who can help me. I recently got a like new 08 GP1300R, was considering the r1 Reflash upgrade. I am getting ready to install intake grate, 14/20 prop, shoe kit, nozzel. Have only just begun. Have only two mods now. cat gone & D plate installed, R&D ride plate on. So any advice good going forward would be helpful. Thanks N-advance
