2006 FX HO Cruiser Motor Removal/installation
I have to change the stator on my FX HO so i've been doing a lot of research/reading. Figured i'd start it this week.
Removed everything needed to pull the motor. Removed the engine mounts bolts (think I should have left the bolts and lifted the motor and pulled the shims. Hindsight.)
Couldn't get the shims out or even see them so I lifted the motor just a little bit and they all fell out Took four out of the front and two of the back. Guessing 1 on each side in the back and 2 on each side in the front.
Assuming the shims are for alignment of the coupler? What's the proper way to figure this out on reassembly?
