Tuning with a aftermarket wheel with the oem ecu?

With a oem rev limiter and running with a aftermarket wheel what performance gains would be expected?
I would be running a ET HB WHEEL.
Besides needing a boost clamp what else is needed?
I already have the rrfpr installed.
I have been told that the oem ecu runs rich,so would fuel need to be added?

Would it be able to turn a 160 magnum 12 vein pump?

I dont know about the pump, however i do think you gonna need a fuel regulator, i have seen ppl with E1 run 79mph with stock ECU. @yamahamiamiski. Also you should know that Riva specs on Boost clamp is 17 pounds of boost MAX. you can contact them and see if you can run more. but on their website it says 17psi max.

I have the stock ECU and Injectors and an E1 wheel on my 08 FX SHO. Here is my setup and what I ran:

78.9 MPH @7680, Yamahamiamiski, 08 FX SHO, 195 lbs, 95air/?water, fresh water, sea level, 1/2 tank, one click up trim, Riva Power Filter, Riva manifold upgrade, Fuel Pressure Regulator(75psi) 93 octane pump gas, Boost Clamp, E1 SC wheel, Upgraded R&D SC shaft, Riva Powercooler, HKS BOV, Solas 15/22 prop repitched to 15/26ish, Anti-cavitation cone, Riva thru-hull exhaust, R&D intake grate, Riva rideplate, stock ECU/Injectors. AFR at WOT=11.9

    Thanks,
Have you tried GPR injectors to lower your fuel pressure?
    75lbs seems pretty high.
Since you have a high pitch prop maybe it will turn a 160mm 13/20 prop.
It looks like a high boost wheel only gives you 12 to 13 lbs of boost at 7700rpms.

I really wouldn't want to try anything else since my AFR is perfect at 11.9 at WOT. If my AFR was lean then I would have to look at other ideas. I am seeing between 13-14 psi on boost gauge which is fine with me since I'm pretty much at 80mph on stock ECU (best speed 79.4) which was one of my goals. I also wanted to keep my warranty ok (this setup was okayed by Riva) and make very safe reliable power by not reving the engine so high. I would highly recommend putting your money into a really good intercooler though as this will not only give you power but KEEP your power as you ride and not lose it due to heat. What speed you looking for?

    I have the jd intercooler(type14)
The intercooler is capable of keeping the AIT cool.
The speed i am looking for is 79+mph like what i had with the R2/C3. I was able to run 79.2 consistantly in the summer @ 8400 to 8500 rpms.
Which was with a 85mm exit nozzle ring, unmodded R&D rideplate and the R&D steering nozzle.
If i can get those numbers with a oem ecu that will be awesome.
Definetly want to be in the high 70's.
I do have a oem plate with jims mod and a modified oem exit nozzle to help with the top speed.

i ranconsistent 78 79 MPH with stock wheel, jd intercooler, stock plate cut by Jims,R3 and other suporting mods. i have a friend running 15.5 et wheel, stock computer intercooler, running about the same speed in an FZR hull. stock limiter. I am planning on running stock computer and boost clamp on my Turbo set up and see what it does.

Just curious, but what's the reason for going back to a stock ECU? The thing I remember most from the pre-reflash days was the PITA of constantly having to change prop & nozzle setups to keep off the rev limiter every time the weather changed 10*.
