Looking for Aftermarket GP1200R Intake Grate and Ride Plate if Availible

    Hello All,

I'm looking to purchase an aftermarket intake grate and possible a ride plate for a 00' GP1200R. Does anyone have these parts available? Also has anyone had problems with the ride plate bolts pulling through the hull like I have heard about? I am planning on installing the support brackets on the ride plate and pump shoe. I am curious to see if anyone has had problems with the ride plate bolts pulling through the hull.

    Thanks,

    EE

Rideplate brackets dont really pull thru, they just spin in the hull. Good idea to upgrade pump shoe and ride plate brackets to the later model style. Also install a pump plug kit and reseal the shoe when installing the intake grate. 1200/1300 grate is what I would recommend... the 800 grate will work, but is no good for holeshot or rough water.

fivespeedsteed, would you consider anything less than 100 for the R&D grate?
