    So.....Where's the water comming from?

    While installing the IC I noticed what looked salt water spray on my upper side cowling & the J-pipe was coated white. I did ride the salt last weekend but i've never had this before when riding in the ocean. All hoses are tight & no holes.
    Anyone have this on their ski after an ocean run?

    Thats what I was thinking but there's not much residue down below like there is up top.

    check the j pipe as well. run it on the hose for a minute and see if you spot any leaks.

    what is the carbon ring/? anyone have a picture of this? what should i look for as i have heard horror stories on this carbon ring leaking

    I did that this morning. No leaks. I guess i'll have to run it without the seat under a load.
