Need to know who's in from Norcal for the Castaic Shootout with Socal...
Re: Castaic Norcal vs Socal Shootout still gonna happen?Hey guys -
Originally it was going to be a 2 day format but because of some unique permit fees involved, and because its the first race back at Castaic in quite some time, it will be a single day event. If it does go it will be an RPM-IJSBA sanctioned race, and possibly a 2013 qualifier. Ross is trying to determine where the interest level is at from both regions. Personally I'm going to get the #14 Mobil-1 X2 dialed in and head down south with the X-2 Army to represent - but if you are interested in racing down south in november to retain this 5 ft trophy, please list your name and class here so I can forward this to Ross. We need to get this in as soon as possible so spread the word!!!

Re: Norcal VS Socal @ Castaic Lake Roll Call *Needed ASAP*
Hey norcal guys -
This was just posted by Ross under the general racing threads at pwctoday...
Re: Castaic Lake Race Nov 17th 2012 Weekend *Roll Call Needed ASAP*
Update: It looks like everything is falling into place however I want to let everyone know the deal
Entries would be $110 for everyone but Jr's. -$80 (*due to the increased fee's associated from the Park)
The Park is allowing RV's (no hook ups) for $20/night - pit area (two parking lots adjacent to the pits/beach area- 1st come, 1st serve, if you want hook ups there are available spots just a little bit away from the pits. $11/boat launch fee $13 vehicle fee
No practice at the race course on Friday, you can practice other areas of the Lake Castaic just not the course until Sat. after rider's meeting.
All teams must have a tarp for their boat/ski to go under their ski/runabout and 1 fire extiguisher per team mandatory.
No smoking/No alcohol in the park.
I have Pro Ski Contingency money from Jet World (Thanks Dan Fitzgerald with some more on the way).
There will be mandatory pre-registration up to Thursday and on-site check in/late registration on Friday. Sat. only for 1 hour (just to check in racers that didn't check in on Friday) then rider's meeting at 8:00 a.m.
If this changes anyone's mind, I need to know today as I am extremely close to "pulling the trigger" to make the race happen.
My email/phone is email@example.com or 310- 318-4012
Thanks for your support!

If you're an outlaw defending our trophy - please list your name here and what class or classes you're running.
I know you've done that in a few different places but I'll be checking this thread, and the greenhulk thread.
Ross is putting this race on and using their gear. I will more than likely be taking the race trailer down and if I empty it out I can probably transport up to 8 skis. Let me know if you need your ski transported down there.
Socal guys are coming out of the woodwork for this race...
X2 Army, 800 novice Stands, 850 experts and FAST Stand, Legends and 800 Runabouts, Sport Sit and Sprint Sit outlaws... I think we're being called out guys!!! If it was ever time to step up and represent - this might be that time.... Hope you can join me in rolling south for a smackdown!!!

Pete, all your post are starting out ok - I mean I think I read most the entire alphabet letter by letter on the other thread... Dylan keeping you up at night? Little extra time on your hands? That was some funny stuff! All those posts and you're still stuck on 28!
If you're having a prob, try sending a pm to the site administrator. Mike said he had the problem fixed but maybe not.

We are bringing it...
Bringing the cans of whoop a$$...
Bringing the 5 ft trophy that will be returning back up North...
Bringing boxes of Kleenex for Socal...
Bringing Ice Packs for Socal - some of those spankings might hurt...
Bringing priests for the Socal Racers experiencing traumatic psychological shock issues...
If I've forgotten anything please let me know so I can add it to the list!
This one will be fun - just as it was always meant to be...
