No power to crank over.. looking for most common fix

It is not a waverunner, but a 1999 Yamaha Exciter 270 (2 x Waverunner motors)

One of my motors doesn't always get power to crank over. It seems to be a loose connection, it cranks and starts sometimes...but in between driving from the house to the lake, one of the engines wouldnt even crank. It had no power.

I have swapped ignition switches, with no luck. The battery connections are tight...

What usually comes apart electrically on these when the engine is getting no power...intermittently.

At the very rear of the boat is a door with a single latch. Often the latch gets loose and wont close the door all the way. Open the door and see 2 black push button switches that contact the door. Push them down one at a time while someone tries to crank the motor. There is one switch per motor.

I will find out tomorrow. Thank you so much! Without this site, I wouldn't have even had a clue that such a thing existed.
