    Tiny Tach not reading accurate rpms.

    I installed a http://www.trailtech.net/tto_tach-hour.html and doesn't read well rpms sometimes it shows up to 9600 rpms that cann't be posible when it's on the trailer it works fine i was thinking of getting this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tiny-Tach-Di...item5ae54b09fc has anybody test it i'm looking for something not waterproof since i'm removing it soon i just want to do a test thank you.

    On the sho engine the TT needs to be set to 720* on the setting page. Otherwise, you will get innaccurate readings.

    What did u hook it up to and what setting is it on?

    i hook it up to the first plugs from front to rear to the square part of the solenoid and the PPR number of tach pulses per crankshaft revolution i have it on 1.0 sensitivity on low and speed fast. those are the settings. the 1.0 i get 1200 to 1300 on idle so i guess i'm on the right crankshaft revolution i guess this one is not working right.

    I think the TTO needs to be set on 2.....

    How many times did u wrap lead around coil and how are u securing it?

    this is how i did thank to yellow93.... and still at idle is fine i get around 1200 to 1400 rpms but wot i get some crazy rpms like 9600rpms or the tiny tach is broken or there is something .

    Like I said before, on the SHO engine the setting needs to be 1 pulse for every 2 revolutions. Try setting the TT to 720* and your problem should be fixed.

    i'm getting a Tiny tach that can be set to 720 degree but the on i have now is broken thank you.
