    SCOM install query (not working)

    hey fellas
a mate of mine got me to order a module for his ski which i used eel here directly the guy is a champ

same as installed on my ski

basically installed, ski wont power on at all
i unplug any of the battery wires and it powers on again with re inserting orange or yellow key

while running i attach the disconnected power wire (only pulled it off not the neg) and it keeps runing but obviously not running thru the scom module (assuming)

turn off pull out key re insert no power so i guess the module is faulty?

    anybody seen this occur b4?

its so straight forward you really cant F it up

anyway just after some clarification and thanks for reading.... Als

yeah mate, basically connected battery connectors the machine wont power up
i take one of the scom battery connectors (i used the positive) off the battery and wala beep beep power on

run the ski while it powers and then i recnnect the red wire to battery ski still runs but im assuming it isnt really working as a delimiter (tho impossible to test and pointless as below)

try it again cutting power, reconnecting scom and again it wont work so the machine wont power up at all while the black and red wires connect to the battery

its gotta be a faulty unit ill call them up today, was just interested to see if anybody have had this before thats all

    thanks mate

it was bought here thru jetskiworld (i contacted denny today nice bloke)

but my personal ski is an import (usa) and im using the same scom on mine

as for the right pin well yes there is only 1 brown wire 3rd row from top to exchange and when power to scom is undone the ski runs again

its being replaced anyway so will find out monday, its a strange thing ofcourse
