Supercharger Hrs different to ski's Hrs

Does anyone know why the supercharger would have more Hrs on it then the ski's does. Ski has 35 Hrs and the supercharger has 38. It didn't go back to the dealer after three hour either.

    Candoo pro.
Do u think there is some smarts built into it eg if you ride hard, full throttle no throttle compared to someone who rides it steady. Could it work out how much strain has been put on the supercharger and add more hrs to service sooner. I'm going to keep an eye on it to see if the difference stays the same over the next couple of months.

I've heard that yes if riding hard the supercharger maintenance light comes on as early as 80 hours of official key use on the newer skis.

Not sure how much of that is true, but its just something I've heard...........

Candoopro reads and displays the hours off the ski. Here is a quick summary:

On late models, hours are stored in three areas, all computed differently:

    1. The cluster reports "ski powered up hours". This value is typically the largest value.
    2. The ECU stores "runtime hours", in other words, the time the engine is actually running. This is typically the lowest value.
    3. The ECU also stores a supercharger hours value. This number depends on how hard you push the engine. It increments the counter at about 1/2 hour to the hour at idle, and about 2 hours to the hour at WOT.

So if you ride like an old lady, your supercharger light will go on at about 125 real hours, if you ride like a maniac, then your light will come on at like 75 hours.

    Thanks for clearing that up.
