Green Hulk rear seat vent air intake
Like i mentioned before, after seeing (and hearing) Cyrile Lemoine's air intake on his RXP at the World Finals it inspired me to do the same.
My previous air intake went up to my front storage compartment in which i cut some holes. Not very safe for water ingestion and being that I am bolting up a new RXX hood this week I needed to come up with something different.
I hacked up my Riva air tube and coupled it to a schedule 40 PVC pipe that came up thru the rear vent. I also drilled 4 - 2" holes in the rear grab handle to help get more air in. The Riva air tube just about made all the right bends to make it line up
Next thing I will work on is venting the hot engine compartment air out and sealing up the area around the 3" intlet pipe to prevent ingestion of hot engine air.
I noticed no gain in performance over my front air intake mod, but it is still a huge improvement over just a Riva air intake, or stock.
The supercharger wine is very prounounced. Not while you are on your ski, but when doing a fly by my wife said my ski sounded like a Jet

jerry do you worry about water injestion?? i had considered running my intake this way but if you do alot of 360's or wave jumping dont ya think it will suck in water? just curious, i havent pad much attention as to how wet that area of teh ski gets

I have never gotten water in that area before. I don't do any wave jumping though. Those RXP's at the finals were running a rear vent air intake as well. They didn't seem to concerned about it.
It is much less prone to water ingestion than my front ram air intake was.

Hey Jerry do you think that if you took of the grab bar and specially made a scoop out of fiber glass to pull in Cold air do you think it would shove more air in to that part? Also the scoops would be pointing forward.

I haven't done that with this new air intake.
