New gasket set has a damaged PTO gasket. can i use it with some threebond?

got a wsm gasket set through today, noticed the pto gasket was poking out of the foil wrap, so i opened up the set to inspect for damage, and then noticed a split in the gasket. ive opened the set now, so i had a bad feeling the seller wont refund / replace it.

therefore, does anybody think i can use it with threebond? or do i have to persue it with the seller (jetski company)

gaskets arnt cheap in the UK or i would buy OEM only.

an OEM head gasket is 100 GBP on its own ($160)

i payed 90 GBP for the WSM set ($145)

is it realy a bad idea to used a WSM head gasket (ive just had my head freshly skimmed) .004"

That's not a good area in the gasket to have damage. That's a coolant passage way, with a decent amount of pressure in it. If that gasket pushes out due to the damage..... you'll be pumping all your coolant into the engine oil. I personally would toss it, and replace it with an OEM gasket.

the guy who sells the gaskets sets is going to swap it for another.

also... it is broken between oil / water ways. cant risk that.
