I just had a great little ride watching your vid - got a GPS track of it? It would make a great trail for the website.

I had my GPS on and it was tracking. Don't know how to do what you are talking about. It is the Garmin 78sc

Great! It's just a matter of downloading the track to your PC and emailing me the "gdb" file. Unless they changed it from the 76, (of which the 78 is the upgrade), the tracks are saved as Garmin Data Base, "gdb" for short, files. Have you ever hooked up your 78 to the PC?

I have it hooked now but don't see any gdb files. When I first hook it up it says on the Garmin that it is saving all Waypoints, routes and trip logs in GPX Format.

I forgot to mention the GPX format - I should be able to take that as well. I will say that if you've been tracking w/that unit it will at some point start to overwrite it's own memory. At least I think that's what it does. But yes, if you don't mind, please send the GPX files - I can convert them.

Hmmm, if Windows, try "My Downloads". If not there, go to your "Start" button, "All Programs" and look alphabetically for a file/program with a Garmin name attached to it. If that fails, go to "Start", then "Search" and tell your PC to look for any occurence of "gpx"... I guess you could try the same with an Apple/Mac, but I have no experience w/that platform...
