Best Grate for a Riva Stage 1 2005 RXT?

Whats up guys a friend of mine just got a 2005 RXT the ski seems to have everything a stage 1 from Riva's would have except the intake grate, so I was wondering what grate would work best for his set up. I dont own a RXT so hopefully some of you RXT guys will chime in,Thanks Chris:yay2:

If your going to change it go with R and D as far as quality.
I have not ran one on my RXT but should perform well based on there grates in other skis.
I had a Riva on my RXT and it worked good until it broke, which can be common.
Im actually put my OEM back on and is holding up better then the Riva but also does not have the wedge in it so does not have the load as the Riva.
My 05 RXT is X ecu with Riva ProX charger.

If you are riding choppy water or ocean riding go with the R&D:http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=581
If you are riding flat water go with the RIVA: http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=232

If you go with the RIVA,keep in mind that those intake grates are common to break especially in high mph conditions.I have broke one ridding on flat water at only 72 mph....

    Well sht...here's another opinion...heh.

I run a Riva...have for years...no breakage...decent hook up in the chop, decent top speed.

Gotta be honest here...with only a stage 1 assist, your aftermarket grate (no matter which you chose) will only really be of help in the chop....you'll prolly lose a bit up top in the flat.

I found with the R&D it made my ski handle heap better, really sucks the back end to the water.
