    whats this part and wheres it go?

    gp1200r ski
    rebuilding the lower end and ready to get cases back together but stumbled upon something other than bolts in my case zip lock bag.

    Im pretty sure it used to go on the front side of the motor and holds the factory black air box in front of the motor. It went through a rubber grommet or the front/right case bolt wire tie. Also the left/front case bolt that holds the wire tie, this keeps the plastic piece from crushing and allows you to tq the bolt.

    kevin i have riva power filters and triples if that helps. im very anal and put/taped almost everything in corresponding freezer bags or shrink wrap. its gotta be from the cases internal or external. i do see after viewing 500 times the manual a part that looks just this that hold the starter zip tie wire

    case bolts, and the collar looking thing goes into a plastic piece for the stator wires and bolts to one of the M6 case bolts (the longer one) on the left front

    I was thinking it is 21 in Kevin's top picture... or it may go into the driveshaft cover where it bolts to the I shaft

    EDIT: driveshaft cover piece is longer I think
