    optimal EGT temps to shoot for

    need some advice on what target temps i should be shooting for through out rev range..
    has anyone got a graph that has been tested at all ? appreciate any help in learning in this area..

    I don't have any fancy graph but always try to keep mine at 1550 F (845 C) at max rpm.
    Im only running 8700rpm with R2 and R3.

    I use 3 rude and running to 8600 with 13/18 skat and nozle 80mm and my egt is 850° C +/- with rotax racing and riva rrfp with pressure line.

    Thanks for the replies.
    What about through out the rev range ? Surley the temps would change as with afr ?

    I don,t have it graphed but my ski ideals arround 330 C and is below 700 C without boost 6000 rpm.

    Have u ran the probes into exhaust or into a Exhaust spacer ... It changes the further the probes are away ...

    going to run in the spacer. how much difference are we talking you think ?

    spacer is about the closest you can get cylinder temp readings on 4tecs

    On the 2 bangers ...50 mm was ideal from the exit ...
