    Low oil buzzer questions.

Ok as many of you know I removed my oil tank. So my question is this. Do I need to install a resistor to the two wires going to the sender, or can I just leave the wires alone. I would go and check the ohms on the unit but it is just too damn cold.

    Thanks,
    Rodney

Install a 33 ohm resistor in the electrical box.

If you don't want to split the box you can also solder the resistor at the removed sender wires and use heat shrink on it.
I'll usually do the heat shrink until I have to split the box for some reson.

On my '92 SL650 I didn't get a buzzer when I unplugged the oil tank wires. So does this mean my buzzer is defective, and won't work on the temp either? Never tested it before.
