XPL bearing carrier needle bearing and seals info
I need to rebuild the bearing carrier that is in the black housing that the seat bolts to.
I believe the seals are the same ones used in the pump and also the driveshaft seal found on the 98 XPL's etc.
Does anyone know who makes the seals? Sea-doo charge a fortune for them and I'm sure if I could find the manufacturer part # i could source them locally.
For info I have found the needle bearing to be a koyo/torrington unit part # J-1416, here is a link to one:
Any help appreciated.

Anyone got any ideas who makes the seals and what the part # is?

In the states we have bearing suppliers that I take bearings seals ect. The price is sometimes a 10th. If i order over phone I give the measurement of shaft pocket it fits in & depth, one or two lip seal. A seal # would be nice if someone has it though so here a bump to top

I just rebuilt the shaft seal bearing a few weeks ago. I used the bearing and seals out of a trashed pump I had laying around. One of the seals is different but the other and the bearing is the same as the 155mm pumps. Hope that helps.
